Senior Shopify Developer for DTC & E-commerce Brands

I build and improve custom Shopify themes, translating detailed designs into responsive storefront components and maintainable merchant experiences. My work includes full redesigns, homepages, product detail pages, carts and reusable theme sections.

I work across Shopify’s theme layer and front-end stack, using Liquid for server-rendered storefront content and JavaScript or TypeScript where interaction genuinely requires it. The goal is resilient HTML first, with progressive enhancement for richer behavior.

I implement third-party storefront integrations and treat performance and accessibility as engineering requirements. That means semantic HTML, keyboard-friendly interactions, responsive media and avoiding unnecessary client-side work.

My earlier CRO and A/B testing work helps me understand hypotheses, measurement constraints and the practical details involved in shipping test variants without disrupting the existing customer experience.

I spent approximately 4.5 years at The Vaan Group working as part of its development team. I’m comfortable collaborating closely with agencies, designers, QA, project managers and other engineers, and working remotely with distributed teams.

My selected agency work includes Shopify contributions for R.E.M. Beauty, HexClad, Rhode and Cult Gaia. These brands were Vaan clients; the work was completed with the agency’s wider project teams.
